Amstelveen, a rapidly growing risk consulting firm, is expanding its Melbourne team and inviting talented individuals like you to join us.
What are we looking for?
We need an energetic, capable and self-starting Senior Consultant to join the high performing business of Amstelveen; a specialist risk management consulting firm that advises a broad spectrum of clients across Australia and New Zealand. Key attributes of a successful candidate in this role will include the following:
- High-Performing Team Players: That thrive in collaborative environments and bring a positive attitude to their work.
- Experience: 2+ years in risk management, compliance, or internal audit, with demonstrated experience in the field of technology risk management. Experience within a consulting firm will be highly regarded.
- Bachelor’s Degree: In related field to business management, risk management or information technology.
- Demonstrated Understanding of Risk, Resilience and Technology: Experienced in the field of risk management, business resilience, cyber risk, assurance and/or compliance, with a deep understanding of governance, risk and controls.
- Organised Multitaskers: Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining quality output.
- Lateral Thinking: Ability to think laterally and commercially about client problems and communicate risk implications to senior client stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of technology controls testing and risk assessments.
- Framework Knowledge: Exposure to risk and compliance management frameworks, including technology risk management.
- Understanding of Risk Systems: Experience working with risk system solutions (this is not a key requirement for the role, but favourable).
- Effective Communication: Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, report writing capability with an understanding of Management-level reporting requirements, and presentation skills.
- Growth Mindset: Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop professionally.
