Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant work experience, ideally including consulting and/or team management experience.
- A deep understanding of governance, risk and controls, with the ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
- A proven track record of successful delivery across risk management, internal audit, major change or transformation projects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, presentation, workshop facilitation and report writing skills, with the ability to deliver clear messages to executive and senior stakeholders.

Manager/Senior Manager – GRC Tooling & Risk Management | Sydney
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager or Senior Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a strategic and systems-based thinker with a strong background in system implementation, business analysis, and broader technology risk management. You will play a key role in advising clients on Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tooling architecture, configuration and building of functionality, and ensuring solutions align with regulatory and business requirements. We work with and are exposed to the industry’s leading GRC tools, including (but not limited to) ServiceNow, Archer, Protecht, ReadiNow, OpenPages and SAI360.
Responsibilities
- Lead major risk transformation programs through risk tooling across various industries, focusing on all matters of risk management, compliance, audit, business continuity management and vendor risk management.
- Advise stakeholders involved throughout system implementation projects to define business requirements and translate them into solution design based on industry best practice and Amstelveen’s internal guidance.
- Evaluate client GRC implementations to advise on areas of opportunity and uplift, or reversion to out-of-the-box functions.
- Design reports, dashboards, and other analytics solutions as value-add components of implementations.
- Assist in maintaining Amstelveen’s internal library and updating implementation blueprints based on evolving practices and updates to system functionality.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and emerging risks in technology and business operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technology risk or business analysis, with demonstrated expertise in GRC implementation projects, preferably within consulting or enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of risk frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, CPS 234, COBIT, NIST) and their relevance to GRC environments.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISA, or PRINCE2 are not essential but highly desirable.
